3. Affiliate – this is a cousin to retail, the difference is the company you are affiliated with does all the dirty work. Lets take Amazon, you sell their products, they fill the orders and take customer complaints, you get a affiliate commission for the sales. This is one of the most popular ways for making money online and many people make a very good living doing this.
4. List Building – the phrase here is “the money is in the list”. This type of Internet business requires a bit more upfront work to build a email list and also build a relationship with people before you sell anything. You attract people to give you their email addresses by offering free ebooks, software or good content. In return they will view your future offers and hopefully buy some of your products. This is also a very popular way to build your Internet business if you enjoy the interaction with a lot of people. The use of an Autoresponder is needed to do this properly. The cost is minimal compared to it’s value.
5. Website Flipping – you have heard of flipping houses? This is the same except you are flipping websites. The technique here is learning how to build a site, build up traffic and sales, then sell it. Some folks have the talent to buy existing run down sites, refurbish them and make a profit. This might be just the right Internet business for you.
