I list them as tools because you will use them at some point. Whatever type of Internet model you decide to start with these tools will be needed. You can add more when you decide on more income streams for your business.

Comparably to other business the Internet offers you a very low cost way to start. Lets take the autoresponder for example, the monthly fee of $19.00 is very cheap compared to what it does for you. A tool that collects names, allows you to schedule email messages and build a bond with customers is a powerful tool used by many Internet business owners.

As you build your business you will find other tools that will make life easier, it’s dependent on what area (s) of the business you branch off into. What I cover on this site is what tools are needed to start. You have to realize when Twitter came about there were a whole new crop of tools developed for this application. With the Internet evolving and more people looking at it for business possibilities, more business opportunities for tools arise. These will be the most valuable tools you can have for your business and isn’t this true for most areas of life. The business I’m building here is predicated on what I learned up to this point, yours will be the same, we all learn from others before us.

You could go and buy the best website, find a great domain name and host all this on a high end dedicated service, then what. If you have nothing to offer, if you have nothing to sell, then you don’t have a business yet. Some of the educational tools you’ll find for your Internet business can be found for Free. For this you can just look at what other seasoned marketeers are doing, it could take months to put the pieces together.

There are some really good membership sites that put the pieces together. I classify these as educational tools. One you might look at is Chris Farrells community,  it’s worth a look. I’ve followed Chris for about a year now and he delivers. Again, were talking about tools for starting an Internet business, not advanced marketing or complicated site building.

As you’ve seen a few times on this site the real education that will make you money is keywords, traffic and conversions (sales). The interesting thing here is poll 10 Internet people and you’ll probably get 10 varied answers. That shows you that the Internet is young, and there are still many opportunities. Make a few mistakes and find out what kind of education you’ll get in correcting them.

I would say to start $30.00 to $40.00 bucks a month for basic tools, where else can you start your own business this low without long term contracts?

You can stop anytime you want and you don’t have to worry about overhead (except a computer and Internet connection).

Just by watching what other sites do will give you an education in itself, this all leads to building a business plan first, then constructing your business.

Business Tools – Every business needs tools, the basic tools described at the start of this article are required. The cost is minimal, maybe $50.00 a month, compared to any other business this is very low. The time saved and list building features that an autoresponder offers out weighs the price.

If that monthly figure is still to much don’t get discouraged, you can eliminate some of the ways to make money and reduce costs. It’s not recommended, but it’s possible.
