Give It To Me Straight I realize (the same as when I started) that people have the idea starting an Internet business is easy money.  I wonder how that happened with all the infomercials and making money online ads promoting the business that way. Even myself, as I build this site, have to be reminded to stay in the mindset of Bottom Line. Here’s the Bottom Line

1. You need the right Mindset, the right understanding
2. You need a blueprint, lay it out on paper
3. You need to know there’s a market to sell to
4. You need to know what your going to sell, a business needs to make money, what method will you use
5. You need to know the kind of site to make (retail, ad sense, colors, etc)
6. You need to build the site for Google (unless you are going to pay for advertising)
7. You need to do linking (internal and backlinks)
8. You need to build relationships with customers (trust and good products)

Now, does all this have to happen today, No. In fact marketing, linking and building a customer base you learn over time.

The Internet is ever changing, what worked 2 years ago doesn’t work as well today. At one time Yahoo was the search king now Google is, and that may change in the future too. Basically all you really need to do to be successful in this business is two things, (1) Be willing to Try and Fail (2) Try again, that’s it.

There’s 3 good things about the Internet business, (1) It doesn’t take a lot of money to start (2) You can build it at your own pace. Many people keep their jobs and build their business part time. (3) You can get your feet wet, find out what really this Internet thing is about. If it turns out this business is not your cup of tea, then you leave without any financial damage. You definitely will have picked up enough information that will prevent you from being the victim of any future  Internet scams.

The Bottom Line is Google made all time historical company profits in 2009. This is mainly due to advertising (adwords). Many of the web hosting companies like Godaddy are hiring when others are laying off. This tells you that the Internet is alive and well, the door is open for average people looking for income alternatives. This sets up some pretty cool obstacles like, what do I sell? How do I make money? How can I compete? These are real good questions and I wouldn’t blame you for hitting the delete button and getting out of this site as quickly as you can except, you see something.

In these brief seconds we have together you see some possibilities. You see the there’s work to it, but you also see there’s a real opportunity for a better way to make money and enjoy it too! If you focus on some key elements from the above list you’ll be ahead of 90% of the people who start an Internet business. Unrealistic visions about this business is the reason 90% or more fail, quit. That means 10% or less end up selling to 100% of the Internet buyers, pretty good odds at that point wouldn’t you say.

That’s why I put proper mindset at the top of the list, without it you’ll be in trouble.

Making Money Online

Isn’t the major incentive for starting an Internet business to make money online? Of course it is, there’s satisfaction in learning new things and creating a site, but without making money you will soon be closing your business.

Each of us has their own thoughts about how much money is enough, this business is a vehicle to get there. It’s much easier if you have a blueprint, a plan to work off that will keep you on track for your goal. When starting an Internet business it’s easy to get sidetracked, you learn of a new product or hear of better ways to make money and off you go. This is when you start spinning your wheels. I want you to get into the mindset that online income is a business and quite different from just blogging random thoughts.

There are some basic steps that apply to all aspects of any business model you decide to start with to make money. Don’t try to learn everything all at once, you’ll go nuts. Follow a plan, understand what each steps means and start that way. If you want a solid business, one that will make money long term, then build it right. If you like puzzles the Internet is for you. It’s not because it’s confusing. but the reason is it’s changing.

Humans buy things, machines don’t. Humans change, events change and your online profits come from these factors. There are 3 words that are very important Keywords, Traffic and Conversion (sales), keep these in mind. Making money online is dependent on these words, your Internet business thrives on these words for survival.

How About A Little Pep Talk? People believe in many things like the bible, some believe there’s life on other planets and some don’t. Some people believe they can and some believe they can’t. Belief is important, until you actually do something you have to Believe you can. Once you do it you don’t have to believe anymore because you did it, that’s why we need belief.

Everyone Make Mistakes We all make mistakes, you’ll run into obstacles, it’s part of the process. Two things will happen, you’ll get frustrated and quit or you’ll treat it as a learning experience. Which will you choose?
